and as fortheone who asks, then do notrepel (i.e., scold or drive away)
And as for one who asks, then (do) not repel,
and him that seeks [thy] help shalt thou never chide
Therefor the beggar drive not away
Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard)
nor repulse the beggar.
and do not snub the one who asks for help.
and do not chide the one who asks for help
And as for him who asks, do not chide (him)
And as for one who begs, scold him not.
and the beggar should not be brushed aside.
and don’t repulse the beggar,
And as for one who requests, repel not
And don’t scold the one who asks.
Nor rebuff the seeker
And that who is As-Sâil (compelled to ask for assistance), then repulse (him) not
and do not chide away the beggar
And as for the beggar, then do not scold (him)
and do not reject the beggar
and as for the beggar, do not scold him
And never shall you repulse him who seeks help
And do not (angrily) repulse (and rebuff) the needy, the beggar
Do not shut off the beggar (without listening gently)
And as for the petitioner, do not repel [him]
And as for the beggar, you shall not reprimand
and do not chide the one who asks for help
And as to the beggar, chide thou him not
And do not drive the beggar away
and as for beggars, do not berate them.
Nor chide and drive away the petitioner
and as for the beggar, do not chide him
Nor the beggar (or petitioner) drive away
And as for the one who asks (for help), do not drive (him/her) away.
Nor refuse the petitioner
nor chase away the beggar,
and chide not him who asks
And as for the beggar, you shall not reprimand.
And scare not the beggar away
And chide not the beggar.
Nor shall you reprimand the beggar
nor drive away the one who asks
And him who asks, chide not
And as for the asker/questioner/beggar , so do not yell at/drive away
And be kind to the needy ones
And do not rebuke the beggar
And him, who seeks thy help, chide not
Nor reproach any beggar (seeking help at your door)
And as for the person who seeks (your assistance) do not chide him away
And repulse not the beggar
and as for the beggar, scold him not
neither repulse the beggar
and as for the beggar drive him not away
And as to him that asketh of thee, chide him not away
nor chide away the beggar.
And as for the beggar therefore, do not chase away.
And as for the beggar, do not drive away.
And do not brush off the one who asks,
and as for the asker, do not rebuke;
Do not turn away the beggar.
and the beggar should not be brushed aside.
And as for the asker, so do not scold.
nor chide away the beggar,
or refuse the one who seeks.
And do not scold the one who inquires and wants!
"and the beggar, do not send him away (empty-handed);"
Nor be unkind to the one who addresses a petition to you, be it fo
and as for the beggar do not drive him away,
And as for the one who asks, then do not chide.
Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard)
And as for one who asks, then (do) not repel
